After the terrible tragidy that struck on boxingday 2004 in East Asia, hundreds of thousands were left either dead or injured, and my prayers go out to each and every one of those affected. However, after nearly two and a half months of long, agonising, waiting, we found out today that my elder brother and sister's father was among those lucky enough to survive and remain comparatively unaffected by the disaster. It's been an awfully long wait, and I'm just so so glad to be able to say that he is alive and well on the opposite side of Thailand. It amazed me to find this out. There comes a time, when you think you are waiting in vain, but this has proved to me, that, there is always a glimmer of hope that you should hold on to.
